Neemrana: Making its presence felt
11th February, 2015
Delhi/NCR
Known primarily to be an industrial town on the Delhi Jaipur Highway, and known only for its picturesque fort, Neemrana suddenly gained prominence when a Japanese industrial zone was established in the town.
It was only recently that the announcement of ShahjhanpurNeemrana-Behror urban complex, global city, and the DMIC corridor led to the developers rushing to the town to launch residential projects to cater to the professionals once these projects become operational.
Touted as one of the fastest growing industrial centres in north India, Neemrana is advantageously located on NH-8, in proximity to other industrial sub markets including Bhiwadi, Bawal, Khushkhera, Tapukhera, and Manesar.
Situated along Phase I of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), Neemrana's strategic location has lured developers and investors enough to be looking for land parcels to register a presence in this town.
Talking about the growth of Neemrana and the increased interest it is getting from the developer fraternity, Santhosh Kumar, CEO (Operations and interna tional director) of JLL India, says, “Looking at the immense growth this town will register in the coming time, developers have acquired huge land parcels here while many others are still seeking profitable deals.“
Residential prices in this market are still low with the average prices hovering in the range of Rs 2,500-2,700 per sq ft.
“Neemrana is developing as a self-sufficient economy and will largely cater to industrial units. To ensure appropriate growth for this area, the government is also working towards the social and civic infrastructure which will further attract more investors and developers to come to this area,“ Vishal Gupta, governing council member of Credai NCR, said.
