DDA told to seal revised master plan

The urban development ministry on October 30 directed Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to finalise the revised Delhi Master Plan so that it can be notified by this year-end.

At the review meeting, chaired by UD secretary Shankar Aggarwal, DDA was directed to place the chapter on environmental issues in public domain by Monday for receiving suggestions and views from the public during the mandatory 45 days. DDA was also asked to present the chapter on “Transit- Oriented Development” (TOD) for the consideration of its chairman by November 7 so that the same can be put in the public domain quickly.
