While discussing the ‘Housing for All’ mission, Naidu said, “Stability, ability and credibility is the only way to attain the mission.” He further added, “To achieve the mission with urbanisation, it has to be a collective effort and it has to be through the Public Private Partnership (PPP).”

Naidu also said that the present government has realised the importance of real estate development in the overall economic growth. Hence, it has relaxed the FDI norms in the real estate sector. “The government is also working on digitization of land records, online sanctions and single window clearance system,” said Naidu. He re-affirmed that the government is working on the process to make real estate approvals less cumbersome.

He said, “To grow cleanliness is an important and ‘Swacch Bharat’ is the only way. However, it is not a one time job but should be inculcated in our daily activity.”

Naidu also gave emphasis on wealth creation and why cleanliness is an important part of the process. “Changing the attitude towards the ‘Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan’ is the key as it will encourage tourism that will further propel growth,” says Naidu.

“We need to encourage the services sector that can contribute more towards the GDP and create more jobs and wealth,” he added.
